Overall Project Scope

 

The mixed-use development at Tigné Point comprises residential, leisure, commercial and retail facilities in a fully pedestrianised environment

  • Ca. 55% of the 110,000m˛ site comprises apartments of varying sizes, planned around the perimeter of the project, many enjoying sea views
  • Ca. 23,000m˛ of retail space inside the multistory The Point shopping mall, as well as over 2,500m˛ of retail space framing Pjazza Tigné
  • Over 1,922 underground car parking spaces
  • Premium, IT-enabled, modular business centre overlooking Pjazza Tigné and the open sea
  • Various sport facilities, including Sliema Wanderers 11-a-side pitch, indoor pitches and training rooms
  • Joint venture with SIS (Solutions & Infrastructure Services Ltd.), harnessing innovative Siemens technology to provide comprehensive security, fire detection and efficient heating & cooling systems
  • Residents' pool overlooking Valletta and adjacent Clubhouse designed to offer indoor health & leisure activities
  • 17m dual carriageway, underground tunnel connecting the Tigné seafront to Qui-si-sana
  • Scenic foreshore walkway bordering the Tigné Point peninsula
  • Restoration of the 18th century Fort Tigné, Garden Battery, Clock Tower, St. Luke's Garrison Chapel and certain elements of the army barracks, which are woven into the contemporary architecture characterising Tigné Point

The planned development on Manoel Island will comprise low-rise exclusive homes in a unique leisure environment

  • Mediterranean Marina Village built on a 'brown-field' basis covering some 30% of the site
  • Fully-fledged Yacht Marina, with over 300 berths, protected by breakwater
  • A waterfront mix of catering, retail and recreational facilities
  • Ca. 2,000 car parking spaces
  • A foreshore casino
  • A public park
  • Restoration the 17th century Lazaretto, which will incorporate both residential and commercial use.
  • Restoration of other historical monuments on the island.
  • Rehabilitation of the 18th century Fort Manoel which encompasses over 6,000m˛ of internal space and large external areas
